[-'nitski], Teodor, polnischer Schriftsteller, * Berlin 5. 3. 1908, ✝ Warschau 5. 12. 1988; lebte 1911-17 in Russland, 1918-27 in der Mandschurei, dann in Polen, im Zweiten Weltkrieg in der UdSSR; war dann im polnischen diplomatischen Dienst; lebte seit 1967 wieder in Polen. Parnicki schrieb in moderner Erzähltechnik vielschichtige historische Romane.
 
Werke: Romane: Aecjusz, ostatni Rzymianin (1937; deutsch Aetius, der letzte Römer); Srebrne orły, 2 Bände (1944); Koniec »Zgody Narodów«, 2 Bände (1955); Słowo i ciało (1959); Tylko Beatrycze (1962); Nowa baśń, 6 Teile (1962-70); Tożsamość (1970); Hrabia Julian i król Roderyk (1976); Sekret trzeciego Izajasza (1984); Opowieści o trzech Metysach, 2 Bände (1992-94).
